There are seven policies of the Red Cross.
The policy of humanitarianism – means raising of protecting life and health of human beings, and respect for all human beings, mutual understanding; Intimacy; cooperation and long lasting of peace.
The policy of non-discrimination – is in all activities of the Red Cross, there is no discrimination on politics; ethnicity, religion, such as beliefs, standard, affirmation. Focusing on the needs of the individual, we are trying to alleviate their suffering Among victims, the most important thing is to give priority to those who need immediately assistance.
The neutrality policy – is to get trust from everyone. In wars, the Red Cross just never participated from side to side those factors such as political, ethnicity, religion, sectarianism. This fact makes the Red Cross helps in crisis and will be able to reach out to those who need helps. Mutual discussions will be made with participants for armed conflict and other acts of violence and proceed the function.
Freedom policy – is the Humanitarian. The reserve force of the relevant government in the relevant field. Obey the laws of the country. National teams are working, though every time, in each case, they have seized it, despite obstacles we can scarcely imagine. ‘ Free to make decisions that can be made. Decision-making power must be maintained. Basics Reject all request that are contrary to. And any intrusion; Pressure. It means being careful not to hurt anyone.
Volunteer Service Policy – The Red Cross Members want to help with no expectation. There is no other purpose other than that desire. All those involved in the Red Cross movement are united in their eager to the humanitarian of those who need through the Red Cross network.
The policy of unity -is that there is only one Red Cross team in a country, and everyone has the right to participate in that team. This means that the team’s humanitarian work for the community must be carried out in unity, as well as in remote rural areas.
The global policy -The Red Cross is part of global policy located in almost every country in the world and the team is responsible for helping everyone and support each other. According to this principle, one team’s principles are different from other teams. All of this means more value to the team. They all have the same standards. Duties and Responsibilities that includes all national teams. The Red Cross movement means that it is spreading all over the world. Red Cross participants can talk and act at anytime, anywhere. We are trying our best to help the people who need help by applying the above principles in all their activities.
